The Sports Innovation League is entering its next phase, and we’re proud to announce the five startups selected as this year’s finalists. After an intensive selection process led by Rockstart, Nederlandse Loterij and NOC*NSF, these innovators stood out for their potential to create meaningful impact within the Dutch sports ecosystem.
Each finalist brings a unique solution that contributes to a more accessible, engaging and data-driven sports experience. Over the coming months, they will join a support program filled with expert mentoring, workshops, pilot opportunities and introductions to key partners in professional sports. Together, we aim to accelerate their growth and strengthen the future of sport in the Netherlands.

Gazeti Gazeti makes live sports accessible for fans with visual impairments through real-time audio description. With a simple “click & listen,” spectators can follow every key moment in the stadium—no app downloads required.
RefConnect RefConnect connects referees and teams through a digital platform that supports smoother match organisation. By bringing together fixtures, referee availability and reviews, amateur clubs gain valuable insights into behaviour, quality and safety on the field.
Authic Labs Authic Labs offers a white-label loyalty app designed for sports clubs and venues. Through gamification, points and rewards, clubs can boost member engagement, encourage repeat visits and improve facility occupancy.
High 5 High 5 is a community app that matches recreational athletes based on skill level, availability, sport preference and location. The platform brings structure to the fragmented world of grassroots sports and helps urban athletes and expats find the perfect match.
PluggableAI – Fan of the Match PluggableAI captures emotional reactions during games using subtle smartphone sensors. By analysing moments of cheering, jumping and excitement, clubs gain new revenue insights, increased app engagement and richer CRM data.
